Bullock on the move in Norway (Basketball)
The best center in the Norwegian Basketball League is on the move.
Peter Bullock of Anchorage has signed a free-agent contract with Froya after two seasons with Gimle. Froya finished fifth in the league standings last season, three games better than Gimle.
Bullock, of UAA fame, grabbed a league-best 13.3 rebounds last season en route to being named BLNO Center of the Year by Eurobasket.com.
The 6-foot-6 all-star forward also ranked No. 3 in scoring (21.7), No. 4 in assists (4.3), No. 2 steals (2.5) and No. 4 in blocked shots (1.1).
His mass production is nothing new to Seawolf fans. Bullock practically re-wrote the record book and finished his career as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
The 28-year-old pro has played in Norway since 2004.
