Even though her team is struggling to win, Kelsey Griffin of Eagle River is not struggling to put up huge numbers.

The 6-foot-2 forward collected 24 points and 12 rebounds, yet in couldn’t prevent the Bendigo Spirit’s 67-64 loss to Sydney in Australia.

Bendigo – which Griffin has led to the WNBL Grand Final in each of the last three years – fell to 9-7 on the season.

Griffin, of Chugiak High fame, ranks sixth in the league in scoring [18.8], fourth in rebounding [9.4] and third in steals [29].
