Back to the bullpen, Way back to dominating self with Bells
His move has rejuvenated his summer.
The 6-foot-7 right-hander has worked his way back into a pivotal role with the Bellingham Bells.
He started the season as a starter but was moved to the bullpen after things didn’t go well.
Way, of Sitka High fame, has a 2.14 ERA over his last four appearances.
That has helped him lower his season ERA from 6.55 to to 5.09 during that span.
He pitched a scoreless seventh inning in a 2-1 win over Kelowna in West Coast League action.
In 31 career games with Bellingham, Way has a 4-1 record and 2.66 ERA in 47.1 innings.
