Peninsula College’s Jalon McCullough of Fairbanks was twice as nice in a win against Everett in NWAC basketball action in Port Angeles, Washington.

The freshman guard doubled his scoring and assist averages with a 23-point, 6-assist performance to highlight an 88-79 victory that kept Peninsula in sole possession of first place in the North Region.

He has drained at least one 3-pointer in 10 straight games, including a 6-for-6 effort against Skagit Valley.

The 5-foot-10 guard is shooting .421 [48-for-114] from deep.

McCullough has bumped his scoring average to 16.6 over his last five games as the Peninsula Pirates have gone 4-1.
