Anchorage’s Trevor Osborne got his chance and he didn’t waste it.

The Whitman College freshman matched his season high in points and set a season high in rebounds as the Blues tuned up Willamette, 100-59, in Walla Walla, Washington.

Osborne, of Grace Christian fame, chipped in six of the team’s 48 bench points.

He knocked down both of his 3-pointer attempts and grabbed a season-high seven rebounds in 14 minutes. It was only the second time he logged double figures in playing time.

Whitman is 19-0 and ranked No. 2 in NCAA D3.

Osborne has scored six points in a game twice this season.

A solid decision maker with the ball, the 6-foot-2 wing has made just three turnovers in 69 total minutes of action.
