Abdul-Bassit finds other ways to contribute on off-night
Anchorage’s Jalil Abdul-Bassit found other ways to help the Toowoomba Mountaineers during a lopsided loss during QBL play in Australia.
The 6-foot-4 guard posted his first double-double in 14 games this season with 17 points and a season-high 12 rebounds to go with a season-high five assists.
Abdul-Bassit, of East High fame, was just 3-of-14 from the field, although he did go 8-for-9 at the line. It was easily the worst shooting night for the league’s third-leading scorer at 25 points per game.
