Naylor nets winning PK for FC Cutthroats in UPSL playoffs

He called it the biggest moment of his soccer career before the game, so you could imagine how good Zak Naylor of Anchorage felt when he scored the winning goal.

The 23-year-old converted the deciding penalty kick to give the Boise FC Cutthroats a 5-4 edge as they prevailed over the Golden State Force U23 team in the quarterfinals of the United Premier Soccer League in Los Angeles, California.

Naylor, of South High fame, buried his PK high and hard to where the keeper had no chance to stop the shot.

The Cutthroats advanced to the semifinals against California Victoria FC, which won 2-1 to knock Boise out of the tournament.
