Juneau’s Dylan Baker is making his way back from the disabled list in the Arizona League.

The 25-year-old right-hander with the Cleveland Indians organization is making a rehab assignment in the rookie league since coming back from Tommy John surgery in 2015.

Baker, of Juneau-Douglas High fame, has thrown a scoreless inning both times, totaling three strikeouts.

Most recently he was asked to actually register four outs after an infielder booted a ground ball on a play that should have ended the inning.

The flamethrower started this season in Double-A with the Akron RubberDucks until he reaggravated his elbow injury in May.

Since turning pro in 2012, Baker has appeared in 59 games and made 47 starts. He owns a 12-11 record, one complete game and a 3.63 ERA. He has struck out 206 batters in 235.2 innings.
