Trammell wins 6-day, 120-mile TransRockies Run in Colorado

Chad Trammell of Anchorage was victorious at the TransRockies Run in Colorado, a grueling six-day, 120-mile race through the heart of the White River and San Isabel National Forests.

He didn’t just win, he dominated the men’s open division that featured 47 finishers.

Trammell won five of the six races with a series total time of 15 hours, 28 minutes, 37.6 seconds in a race that had participants climbing 20,000 feet of elevation gain.

He beat second-place Yoanna Stuck of France by half hour.

Trammell, of Alaska Endurance Project fame, capped his title with a resounding 11-minute win in the final stage.
