UNLV brings out the best in Idaho football player Ed Hall of Chugiak.

Last year, he registered a career-high 15 tackles against the Rebels. This year, he had 13 tackles and his first career interception.

The junior linebacker’s pick came in the second quarter of a 44-16 loss at Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho.

His play was one of the few bright spots for Idaho.

Hall, of Eagle River High fame, intercepted UNLV quarterback Armani Rogers at the 29-yard line and returned it 10 yards to put the Idaho in the red zone. Idaho would later miss a chip-shot field goal.

In the first quarter, his 5-yard tackle for a loss on first-and-13 eventually forced UNLV to punt.

Hall has racked up 119 tackles, six for loss, and one interception in 27 career games.
