Wasilla’s Merit Paramo was in rhythm on offense and played well on defense to help the University of Dallas volleyball team sweep Brooklyn College.

Dallas prevailed 25-7, 25-15, 25-12 in Irving, Texas, in the team’s most dominating performance of the season.

Paramo, of Wasilla High fame, hammered seven kills on 15 attempts for a sparkling .400 attack percentage, her second-highest total in nine matches.

She added a season-high six digs, three aces and two blocks.

On the year, the 5-foot-8 hitter ranks second on her NCAA D3 team with 62 kills, .284 hitting percentage and 13 blocks.
