Sims reaches 1,600 career assists, ranks 7th all-time for Master’s
Kayla Sims of Anchorage reached 1,600 career assists to inch closer on the all-time list for The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California.
The junior setter ranks No. 7 on the NAIA school’s assist list, needing just 34 more to reach the No. 6 spot.
She’s on pace to become just the fifth player in The Master’s history to reach 2,000.
Sims, of South High fame, is also knocking on the door of the top 10 aces list. She has 91, needing 110 to make the cut.
She is averaging 7.3 assists per set and has a season high of 50. She’s also got 35 kills and a .212 attack percentage.
