Once he caught the ball in stride, Caleb Holley of Anchorage left the defense in his dust.

The second-year wide receiver with the Saskatchewan Roughriders hauled in career-best 75-yard catch-and-run touchdown to highlight a 27-24 win over the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.

Holley, of East High fame, came off the line in motion and ran a quick slant pattern, catching the ball all alone in the middle of the field.

The 6-foot-4 speedster broke a tackle at the 50-yard line and then outsprinted two defenders all the way to the end zone.

Holley’s touchdown came on the final play of the third quarter and put Saskatchewan ahead 24-17.

He finished the game with a team-high 86 receiving yards on two receptions.

It was Holley’s third touchdown this season and fifth in 20 career CFL games.
