Anchorage’s Tanner Sorenson is killing it in Kazakhstan.

The 24-year-old center with Torpedo of the Supreme Hockey League leads his new team with 10 points in 14 games.

He has 5 goals and 5 assists, with his latest goal being No. 40 for his three-year professional career.

The former Michigan State skater went to Kazakhstan this year after playing two seasons with the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings.

Torpedo is part of the country’s second division, akin to what the AHL is to the NHL.

Sorenson sports 40-42—82 career numbers in 145 games.
