Kuiper re-emerges for New Mexico, playing better than ever
Lots of players lose their confidence when they lose their starting job, but Kuiper stayed strong and re-emerged a better player for the Lobos.
How else do you explain the 6-foot-7 junior scoring as many points in the last three games as he did in the previous 10 games .
Kuiper, of Wasilla High fame, kept the good times going against Prairie View A&M when he pumped in 14 points in 19 minutes on 5-of-7 shooting.
He also dished off a career-high six assists and added 10 points and five rebounds against Rice.
The game before that he scored a career-high 24 points against Arizona when he knocked down 6-of-8 3-pointers.
He looks like a totally different player.
