Sorenson surpasses 100 career points in 3rd year at pro ranks

Anchorage’s Tanner Sorenson surpassed a major milestone recently when the third-year pro pucks player registered his 100th career point.

The 24-year-old center with Kazakhstan power Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk leads his team is goals and is the only player to rank in the top three in points [30], penalties [74] and plus/minus [+11].

Sorenson is the top American scorer in the Supreme Hockey League.

He has compiled 17 goals and 13 assists for 30 points in 42 games.

The former Michigan State star has amassed 102 points in 173 career games in the VHL and ECHL.
