Homza raises batting average 45 points in a week in Ivy League
The Ivy League player from Alaska went 8-for-17 over the last week to raise his batting average 45 points to .250 after 26 games with the NCAA D1 school.
Homza, of South High fame, leads Brown with eight doubles and is third with 25 hits.
The junior shortstop has one home run, 11 RBIs, 11 runs and three stolen bases.
Defensively, he owns a .941 fielding percentage on 118 total chances and has a hand in 17 double plays.
