Coming off the bench isn’t normal for Kamaka Hepa of Utqiagvik, but then again, the Team USA men’s U18 team isn’t a normal squad.

The team of rising stars showcased their next-level talent with a resounding 105-73 win over the Dominican Republic in the first game of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship in Ontario, Canada.

Hepa, of Barrow High fame, played eight minutes and collected two points and five rebounds.

The 6-foot-9 University of Texas signee went 1-for-3 from the floor and grabbed two offensive rebounds.

Team USA outscored the Dominican Republic 62-39 in the second half.
