Colter Lasher’s first pro playoff game didn’t exactly go as scripted.

The Geraldton Bucs rookie from Anchorage saw his No. 1 seeded team go down in an 89-76 loss to the No. 8 seeded Rockingham Flames in Game 1 of their quarterfinal playoff series in Australia’s State Basketball League.

The 6-foot-7 former Houston Baptist University standout pumped in 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 29 minutes.

Lasher, of Dimond High fame, shot 8-for-14 from the field.

Geraldton won the regular-season title and No. 1 ranking with a 23-3 record. The Bucs won 91-74 in the only meeting of the season way back in March.
