Duffy-to-Faamatuainu combo connects for 5th TD for Dubuque
The 907 connection added up to another touchdown for the University of Dubuque, which stayed hot off the bye week and beat Buena Vista 38-7 on the road in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Quarterback Sean Duffy of Anchorage and tight end Karletty Faamatuainu of Eagle River hooked up for their fifth touchdown and Duffy threw for three TDs to give him 16 on the year for the NCAA D3 Spartans.
Duffy, of West High fame, has raised his completion percentage 90 points over the last five games. This was the third game he had at least three TDs.
In seven games he has thrown for 1,379 yards and owns a 16-6 TD-to-INT ratio.
Faamatuainu, of Chugiak High fame, caught a 3-yard TD and finished with two catches for 10 yards.
He has 12 receptions for 125 yards and six scores for the season.
Dubuque improved to 5-2 on the season and 4-1 in conference play.
