Jessee’s 13 blocks most in PacWest Conference since 2013
Anchorage’s Ashton Jessee threw a block party in Fresno, California.
The University of Hawaii Hilo middle blocker equaled the highest blocks total in a PacWest Conference match since 2013 with three solo blocks and 10 block assists in a four-set win over Fresno Pacific University.
Her career-high 13 blocks were one shy of the school record, set by Alofa Tagataese in 1984.
Jessee, of South High fame, added four kills with a .357 hitting percentage.
The 6-foot-3 sophomore leads the PacWest with 1.25 blocks per set and ranks sixth with a .352 attack percentage in 21 matches.
