Touray leads NWAC in goals, points; joins 50-point career club
Entering the final sprint of the soccer season, Anchorage’s Bubacar Touray is in the running for NWAC Player of the Year.
The Tacoma Community College sophomore leads the league with 15 goals and is tied for the league lead with 33 points.
Touray, of West High fame, has accounted for 31 percent of his team’s goals.
Tacoma is 13-0 and ranked No. 1 in the league.
The former Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year has gone from good to great in his second season in the NWAC, doubling his freshman point total.
For his career, he has amassed 50 points in 33 games.
