Hebard earns 26th career double-double, joins 700-rebound club
University of Oregon basketball junior Ruthy Hebard of Fairbanks recorded her second double-double in seven games this season and the 26th of her star-studded career in a 110-48 win over Long Beach State in Eugene, Oregon.
The 6-foot-4 All-Pac-12 forward scored 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds to go with three blocked shots, two steals and one assist in just 24 minutes.
Hebard, of West Valley High fame, also joined the 700-club for career rebounds.

The three-time Gatorade Alaska Player of the Year is shooting the ball better than ever before with career-best field goal (.712) and free throw (.826) percentages.
Hebard’s .632 career field-goal percentage ranks No. 1 on Oregon’s all-time list.
She also ranks top 10 in double-doubles and top 15 in points (1,325), rebounds and blocked shots (90).
