Brown collects sixth 30-point game for Crandall in Canada
Anchorage’s Kendal Brown recorded his sixth 30-point scoring game of the season for Crandall University of New Brunswick, Canada.
The junior guard had 30 points on 12-for-28 shooting in a 78-76 loss to Mount Allison. His jumper gave Crandall a 75-74 lead with 2:15 remaining.
The 6-foot-5 transfer added eight rebounds, five steals and two assists.
Brown, of West High fame, ranks second in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association with a 25.3-point scoring average.
He leads the league in 3-pointers made (58) and attempted (155) and is 16th in percentage at .374.
Brown isn’t just a scorer as he is also adding 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game.
Earlier this year he set a career high with 46 points.
