Kenai’s Jordan Theisen earned all-league honors in the men’s mile for Black Hills State University.

The junior runner pushed himself in the thin air to take fourth in a time of 4:22.56 to grab second team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference recognition.

The RMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships were held in Alamosa, Colorado, which climbs to 7,547 feet in elevation.

Theisen, of Kenai High fame, had his time converted down to 4:08.32 which is a provisionally qualifying time to the NCAA D2 championships and is currently ranked 20th in the nation.
