Jennings competes at National Invitational Championship
Boise State University swimmer Emmie Jennings of Eagle River was part of two relay teams that placed in the top one-fourth of the women’s competition at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship in Cleveland, Ohio.
This is the second time the junior has participated in the NIT for college swimming.
Jennings, of Chugiak High fame, competed in two relay races for Boise State, which placed eighth out of 32 teams in the 400-yard medley relay and 10th out of 32 teams in the 200 free relay.
She earned all-conference honors in both events at last month’s Mountain West Championships.
Jennings is also a member of the 200 medley relay that owns the school record.
