Kuiper seals New Mexico win with game-saving steal at buzzer
Wasilla’s Dane Kuiper made the defensive play of the game in the closing seconds to secure the University of New Mexico’s 73-72 win over Boise State University.
The senior guard switched on defense at just the right time and then poked the ball away from a Boise State player to deny the Broncos a final shot.
Kuiper’s active feet, quick hands and nose for the ball paid off at the end.
