White pitches her greatest game of Corban career in 2-1 victory
Rachel White of Anchorage pitched the best game of her college softball career to help Corban University beat Carroll College 2-1 in Salem, Oregon.
The senior right-hander threw a career-best 6.2 innings and earned her first winning decision of the season and the 10th since 2017.
White, of South High fame, allowed just four hits and struck out three batters.
She was lifted in the bottom of the seventh inning with the bases loaded, just one out shy of her first complete game.
Still, the effort was excellent.
White has one win and two saves in four appearances this year with the NAIA Warriors.
For her career, she has posted a 10-4 record with three saves and a 2.86 ERA in 80.2 innings.
