Trupp bros among top scorers for different German pro teams
Anchorage brothers Evan Trupp and Hayden Trupp have been terrific this season in Germany.
They are in separate pro leagues but having the same success as each player ranks among the scoring leaders for their respective teams
Evan Trupp, 31, skates for the Iserlohn Roosters in Germany’s top-tier league and is fourth on the team in scoring with 6-29-35 totals in 49 games.
The veteran center is in his season of pro hockey and his third in Germany. He recently earned his 100th career point in the DEL.
He’s also played in the AHL and ECHL, winning a Kelly Cup championship with the Alaska Aces in 2014.
His 29 assists this season are his second highest as a pro, trailing only the 33 helpers he furnished with the Aces.

Hayden Trupp, 26, is in his fourth season in Germany after wrapping up his collegiate career with the UAA Seawolves.
He played previously in the country’s fifth division, but this year the winger is playing in the fourth division for EHC Königsbrunn.
The move has been good as his 11-21-32 totals in 21 games match his highest as a pro.
His 21 assists are the most in a single season since juniors.
