Anchorage’s Travante Williams has another gear when it comes to playoff basketball.

He goes from good to great, shifting his game into overdrive and leaving the competition in his dust.

His latest playoff performance resulted in 27 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. And, of course, his team won.

The 6-foot-4 guard led Portuguese League power Oliveirense to a 92-69 victory over Illiabum in Game 3 of the first-round best-of-5 playoff series.

Williams, of Mt. Edgecumbe High fame, was 5-for-5 from downtown to match his career high for 3-pointers in one game.

Oliveirense has won nearly 90% of its games with the former UAF star on the court, rattling off 67-of-75 and a 12-0 run in the playoffs, including last year’s Portuguese League championship.
