Langdon robs bank – ok, not really (Basketball)
This is totally random, but an obvious Duke fan robbed a bank in North Carolina wearing a Cleveland Cavaliers Trajan Langdon No. 21 jersey.
It’s true
It happened recently in the capital city of Raleigh when some dude all tatted up was captured on surveillance images holding up a SunTrust Bank. Police are still looking for the 5-foot-8, 200-pound suspect.
On one hand, it’s pretty cool that the burglar picked Langdon’s gear. I mean, the NCAA All-American from Alaska was one of the greatest shooters in Duke University history. And the campus is only a few miles from where the robbery occured.
But on the other hand, why that jersey?
What, his Bobby Hurley No. 11 was at the cleaners? He didn’t want to dis LeBron? No mask?
At any rate, it’s weird.
Langdon, of East High fame, played three NBA seasons for the Cleveland Cavaliers before going overseas, where he has become a perennial all-star and Euroleague champion. The 2008 Alaska Sports Hall of Fame inductee currently starts for Russian power, CSKA Moscow.
