Chris Kuper

The Denver Broncos are 4-0 and ranked fourth in the NFL in rushing yards with 148 per game.

Alaskan Chris Kuper is a big reason.

The 6-foot-4, 302-pounder from Anchorage is the starting right guard for one of the best offensive lines in the league.

They certainly have Bill Belichick’s attention as he spoke to reporters prior to his New England Patriots traveling to the Mile High City for Sunday’s game (12:15 p.m. on CBS).

“They’re a very experienced line — this is a group that’s been together for a little while now with [Ryan] Harris, and certainly [Ryan] Clady in there, he’s going to be one of the top — if he isn’t already — best tackles in the league, and inside with [Ben] Hamilton and [Casey] Wiegmann, [Chris] Kuper — that’s a good group.”
