Bowman grabs second pick of season (Football)
November 8, 2009

Anchorage’s Zack Bowman turned in one of the lone bright spots for the Chicago Bears today.
The second-year cornerback intercepted Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart in the fourth quarter in an otherwise ugly 41-21 loss at Soldier Field. It was the only pass Leinart threw, who had replaced starter Kurt Warner but was taken out following the turnover.
Bowman, of Bartlett High fame, added four solo tackles and his third pass deflection of the year. It was Bowman’s second interception of the season, tying him for the team lead with veteran Charles Tillman.
The Alaskan continues to make plays in his young NFL career. He now has three interceptions and a touchdown—in just nine games.
