Hardy, Idaho continue to win (Football)

When the University of Idaho football team needed a playmaker down the stretch last week, they called on Anchorage’s Daniel Hardy.
Hardy, of West High fame, caught two passes on the winning drive in a thrilling 35-34 victory over Louisiana Tech.
He caught a pivotal 13-yarder on third-and-10 and then hauled in a 21-yard reception to set up the game-winning score, helping the Vandals overcome a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Hardy finished with four catches for 54 yards, with 34 of them coming on the go-ahead drive.
Of course, Idaho had to dodge a missed 56-yard field goal that sailed wide left before celebrating.
The Vandals improved to 7-2 overall. They play Fresno State on Saturday.
