Rhea’s jumper is all wet (Basketball)
Talisa Rhea of Juneau is already in midseason form, and it’s still the preseason. That’s a good sign for the Oregon State University women’s basketball team.
The 5-foot-11 junior guard netted a game-high 23 points in 25 minutes and added eight assists as the Beavers routed Concordia 113-35 in an exhibition game.
Rhea, a three-time Alaska prep player of the year, hit the first jumper 15 seconds into the game to get the party started.
In just two seasons, Rhea has already earned the reputation as one of the top 3-point shooters in the Pac-10. That’ll happen after you drain a conference-record 10 threes in one game like she did last year.
