Robinson wraps up junior season (Football)

Anchorage’s Kylan Robinson ended his junior season with the University of Miami on a sour note Tuesday after being on the wrong end of a 20-14 decision in the Champs Sports Bowl.
Robinson, of East High fame, played in all 13 games for the 14th-ranked Hurricanes (9-4).
The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder is a backup linebacker, although most of his playing time came on special teams.
Robinson has seen action in 22 career games at the ‘U’ entering his final season.
A former all-state performer in football and basketball with the East T-birds, Robinson moved to Florida for his senior year. He started the season playing wide receiver and defense before switching to running back for the third game; he led the county with more than 1,600 yards and 11 touchdowns, and rushed for 402 yards in one game.
But since his arrival in Coral Gables, the Alaskan has been relegated to special teams.
Maybe next year he’ll finally get a shot to carry the rock.
