Juneau’s Will Egolf had the fifth-largest home crowd in the history of Bradley University on its feet tonight after his dunk put the Braves up double figures over Illinois State.

Not long afterwards, though, Egolf was off his feet.

Three fouls in 61 seconds late in the second half forced the 6-foot-9 Alaskan to the bench, where he watched as Bradley coughed up the lead in an eventual 62-61 loss in front on 11,281 fans at Carver Arena.

Egolf, an emerging sophomore center, finished with seven points, four rebounds, one blocked shot and one assist in limited minutes.

It was Bradley’s second loss to Illinois State in 11 days. In that first game, Egolf struggled with two points and two rebounds in 13 minutes.

The two teams could face off again at the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
