Larson only bright spot for Regis (Basketball)
The Regis University Rangers women’s basketball shot 29 percent, committed 14 turnovers and was outrebounded by 17 the other night against Chadron State College.
They lost 91-54 in a game that was better off forgetting.
Unless, that is, you’re Alaskan Kara Larson.
Larson, of Colony High fame, came off the bench to deliver seven points and a team-best six rebounds in just 19 minutes.
The 5-foot-10 Palmer freshman is now averaging 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game.
Regis, a NCAA Division II school in Denver, has lost seven of its last eight, falling to 9-11 on the season.
