Langdon on brink of Euroleague semis (Basketball)

Trajan Langdon of Anchorage cashed in for a dozen points today to help CSKA Moscow take a commanding 2-0 lead in its best-of-5 series, thanks to an 83-63 win over visiting Caja Laboral of Spain in the Euroleague quarterfinals.

The former NBA lottery pick started and played 25 minutes, making 4 of 7 field goals and 2 of 2 foul shots. The 6-foot-3 guard also had four steals.

Caja Laboral features Alaskan Brad Oleson, a former All-American at UAF. The Euroleague rookie played only 13 minutes and unbelievably did not attempt a shot.

Game 3 is Tuesday in Spain.
