Perkins impressive in Game 1 loss (Basketball)
March 23, 2010

One of the top reserves in the Euroleague, Doron Perkins of Anchorage brings excitement off the bench like few players.
He brought his A game in today’s quarterfinal playoff game, but unfortunately it couldn’t save Israeli champion Maccabi Electra from losing 85-71 at home to Serbian power Partizan in Game 1 of the best-of-five series.
Perkins, of Bartlett High fame, delivered team-high totals in points (13) and assists (6) to go along with five rebounds in an A-plus effort. He received a 21 player ranking, nine higher than his season average.
Game 2 is Thursday in Tel Aviv.
