What’s new, Way wins again (Baseball)
June 27, 2010

What does a guy have to do to get a promotion with the Phillies?
Pitching for the big club’s Class A affiliate, Sitka pitcher Matt Way won his fourth straight start with the Lakewood BlueClaws in today’s 4-2 win over the Delmarva Shorebirds of Maryland.
Way, of Washington State University fame, gave up two hits and a run in six innings.
He upped his season record to 7-4, lowering his ERA to 3.35.
It was yet another strong start for the left-hander, who improved to 7-1 over his last nine starts, making him one of the hottest pitchers in the minors.
