Macon no longer with Colorado State (Football)

In a surprising announcement, Colorado State University head coach Steve Fairchild today told reporters at the team’s annual Media Day that senior Cory Macon of Anchorage is no longer with the Rams.
Macon, of East High fame, started nine of 10 games last season at defensive end.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder missed all of spring practice for personal reasons and has reportedly been ruled academically ineligible.
