Winczura honored off the mat (Gymnastics)

Eagle River’s Amy Winczura capped a fabulous freshman season recently at Texas Woman’s University, matching her All-American recognition on the mat by earning All-American honors in the classroom.
Winczura, of Arctic Gymnastics fame, finished her first year of college with a 3.57 GPA to make the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches scholastic team.
As a group, Texas Woman’s University had a 3.42 GPA during the 2009-2010 season to rank 19th out of 69 teams in the NACGC.
