Knutson scores in UNLV scrimmage (Football)
August 22, 2010

Anchorage’s Tate Knutson took a major step in doing something he’s never done – catch a ball in a college game.
The University of Nevada Las Vegas senior wide receiver snagged a 28-yard touchdown pass in Saturday’s scrimmage, possibly leaving a strong enough impression with the coaching staff to get his number called during the season.
The Rebels open the season Sept. 4 against No. 12 Wisconsin.
Knutson, of East High fame, has started one of the 23 games he has played and earned a letter in each of his first three seasons.
He is a kinesiology science major.
