Moore, Fever drop Game 1 (Basketball)
August 26, 2010

The road back to the WNBA Finals just got a lot harder for the Palmer’s Jessica Moore and the Indiana Fever.
The defending Eastern Conference champions lost in Game 1 of their best-of-3 series with the streaking New York Liberty, who won for the 12th time in 13 games after prevailing 85-73 tonight at MSG.
Moore, of Colony High fame, came off the bench and played seven minutes and change.
The 6-foot-3 forward missed her only shot attempt but added one rebound, one steal and one blocked shot.
She also committed two fouls.
Moore, like most of the Indiana reserves, had a +7 rating, a solid number considering her team lost by a dozen.
Game 2 of the series is Sunday night at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
