NBA hooks up Alaska on Christmas (Basketball)
The Last Frontier got an early Christmas present today with news that Carlos Boozer and Mario Chalmers will both be on the tube on Dec. 25.
The NBA released a partial schedule of key dates, including a Christmas quadruple-header featuring marquee matchups like Bulls-Knicks and Heat-Lakers.
Boozer, of Juneau fame, joined the Chicago Bulls this summer as a big-ticket free agent after six seasons in Utah, where he was a two-time NBA All-Star.
Chalmers, of Anchorage fame, is entering his third season with the Miami Heat after re-signing this summer.
The point guard should have plenty of made-for-TV highlight opportunities with that star-studded lineup in South Beach.
That is, when he gets back on the court. Right now Chalmers is nursing an injured ankle that has him in a cast. But it’s supposed to come off in the next day or so.
