Daniel Hardy of Anchorage began his college football career on the scout team.
Three years later he surpassed the 900-yard mark in career receiving yards.
The senior wide receiver for the University of Idaho football team passed the benchmark Thursday after making four catches for a team-high 82 yards in a 45-0 victory over North Dakota.
The 6-foot-4 Alaskan now has compiled 52-901-5 career totals.
Hardy, of West High fame, enjoyed a breakout season last year in which he finished at a 39-691-3 clip.
