Murphy-Logue headed in the only goal of the match in the 65th minute to lift Macalester College to a 1-0 upset over nationally ranked Loras in St. Paul, Minn.

Macalester remained unbeaten at 3-0, outscoring the opposition 7-0.

Murphy-Logue, of West High fame, has scored twice in the last two matches to give the senior midfielder 10 goals for his career.

Macalester, which lost to Loras in the second round of last season’s NCAA playoffs, is the preseason pick to win the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with the rugged 6-foot-3 Alaskan leading the way.
