Another shutout for Campbell (Soccer)

Chances are Lara Campbell is generous off the soccer pitch because on the field she is as stubborn as they get.
The sophomore goalkeeper continued to deliver for the University of Denver nationally ranked women’s soccer team, pitching her 14th career shutout Sunday after the Pioneers beat Florida International 1-0 in the Mile High City.
No. 25 Denver outshot the Golden Eagles 16-5.
Campbell, of South High fame, anchors a defensive unit that has allowed only one goal in eight matches this season.
Denver improved to 14-2 overall, 8-0 in the Sun Belt.
The 5-foot-8 Campbell has five shutouts this season. She had a remarkable nine shutouts as a freshman.
Her career record is an impressive 29-6-1.
