Bowman forces fumble, saves TD (Football)
Benched but not bottomed out, Zack Bowman of Anchorage still managed to make a big play coming off the bench for the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football.
The third-year cornerback lost his started job last week.
But rather than pout, the Alaskan pounced on every opportunity he got to play against the New York Giants.
Bowman, of Bartlett High fame, saved a touchdown in the fourth quarter by stripping Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw at the goal line and recovering the loose ball.
At the time the play kept the Bears in the game, although they lost 17-3.
Bowman also made three solo tackles.
